Every configured ring becomes a per-configuration product with its exact price — created idempotently by SKU, so the same design never duplicates, and marked "Not Visible Individually," so your category pages and search stay pristine. What exactly gets installed?
A single Composer package providing the Gemtheon_RingBuilder module for Magento 2. Standard lifecycle: module:enable, setup:upgrade, di:compile, static-content:deploy. No core patches, no theme overrides required — the builder mounts in a block you place via layout XML.
How is the access key handled?
The key is entered once in Stores → Configuration and stored encrypted with Magento's built-in encryption. At runtime the module proxies storefront requests to the Gemtheon API server-side through its own controller route, so the key never reaches the browser and never appears in page source.
How do per-configuration products stay under control?
Product creation is idempotent by SKU: each unique configuration maps to one deterministic SKU (prefixed by type — diamond, setting, or complete ring), so re-adding the same design reuses the same product. Products are created "Not Visible Individually" and a scheduled cleanup job retires configurations that never became orders.
What does it depend on, and what does it not touch?
It depends on standard Magento 2.4 APIs — no third-party modules required. It does not modify checkout, does not override native pricing for your existing catalog, and uninstalls cleanly: disable the module and your store behaves exactly as before.
